The medication contains active ingredients like Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride & montelukast sodium. Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride is an antihistamine and montelukast sodium is leukotriene receptor antagonists with anti-inflammatory & bronchodilating activities. They work on relieving symptoms of asthma, seasonal rhinitis, hay fever etc due to an allergic reaction. The drug gets easily absorbed by young bodies which make it effective as pediatric syrup. It provides quick relief from the ailment. They are not effective on nasal congestion or blocked nose ailments.
